Context
What was happening?
Bhartiya Bhasha Diwas is a moment that celebrates India's languages. For an entertainment platform built on regional depth, it is a date that is genuinely on-brand rather than borrowed — ZEE5's catalogue and its annual packs are organised around exactly the differences the day marks.
- 02
Communication Challenge
What needed to be solved?
Communicate the variety of annual entertainment packs without turning the campaign into conventional subscription advertising. Pack communication defaults to price, tenure and feature lists. None of that carries a cultural moment.
- 03
Audience Truth
What human behaviour mattered?
- Different people speak different languages.
- Different people understand entertainment differently.
- Different people have different entertainment preferences.
- 04
Strategic Thought
What communication territory emerged?
If preference is that personal, then a single pack cannot be the right answer for everybody. The territory moved away from what the packs contain and towards who the packs are for — language as identity rather than language as a filter.
- 05
Creative Idea
Different people.Different packs.
Humanise the proposition using humour and recognisable behaviour, so the variety of packs is understood through people rather than through a product grid.
- 06
Execution
Where the idea travelled.
Social-first film released for the Bhartiya Bhasha Diwas moment, supported by platform and in-app communication around the annual packs.
